All authors believe they have the next number one best seller. This workshop will assist authors in preparing their manuscript for presentation as well as give tips on how authors should present themselves to publishers. The workshop will help authors by covering the following;

  • What are the most common mistakes author’s make when submitting their manuscript to a publisher and how to avoid them
  • What publishers look for when reviewing a manuscript
  • What characteristics publishers look for in authors
  • What publishers expect authors to know

Facilitator

tonyas_picture_small__pgqgCEO of Infinite Xpression Publishing, Tonya Shirelle, maintains her busy schedule as an author, publisher, public relations expert and business-life coach. Juggled with her personal life of raising three teenagers she seemingly balances it all. Her can-do attitude has taken her far in life, after negotiating her way out of a two book contract deal with a major publisher her entrepreneurial spirit led to the founding of Infinite Xpression Publishing.

Tonya has published several articles throughout the years and has had a column in a local newspaper entitled “Time to Talk, Woman to Woman.” An avid reader since the age of three Tonya Shirelle has enjoyed success of her first published fiction novel, Circumstances. She is dedicated to providing publishing opportunities to others and continues to build on her success with new projects and events.

Growing up Tonya learned from her family that the only limitations people have in life are the ones they placed on themselves. Her motto is “if you can believe it you can achieve it, yet you have to put the plan in action.” That’s just what she has done.
