Your opportunity to be a part of Authors and Artitsts Chicago..Also we are looking for vendor/partners. We are seeking diversity in the selection of authors, genres and participants..if you want a well promoted event with multiple media partners and at least 2 opportunities during the weekend for the promotion of your book, product etc, we invite you to join us in Chicago the first weekend in October.

(3 DAYS, 5 EVENTS CELEBRATING MUSIC, ART LITERATURE, AND SPOKEN WORD)

Overview

Authors and Artists is a 3 day event featuring literature, art, music and spoken word. This mini festival will feature approximately 20-25 authors as well visual, spoken word and musical artists (all pre-selected) to participate in a series of events. The schedule of events is as follows (events subject to change):

Thursday October 1st

Wine and Verses – Spoken Word and Wine Tasting Event – WineStyles Chicago South Loop

Friday October 2nd

Kick-Off Reception Art Exhibit and Book Signing at Murphy Hill Gallery in Chicago’s Homan Square Neighborhood

Saturday October 3rd

11AM – 1PM : Brunch – “Inspirations” Featuring stories of hope, faith and success. Location TBD

1PM – 6PM – Book Signing Azizi Books in Lincoln Mall

7PM – 11PM – Neo Soul: The Movement Concert – Ai Japanese Restaurant – Chicago

Cost/Profit For Participants

$100 Before Sept 1
$150 After Sept 1
Authors keep 100% of sales made at the Oct 1st reception and 50% of retail sales at the Azizi Books event (All sales are shared with host book store). Selected authors must participate in both events.

Other Sales Opportunities for Authors

Authors can provide books as a part of presale ticket packages and as a part of the “Inspirations” event pre ticket sales (Authors will receive pre-negotiated per book price).

Please note authors will be selected for the event an the number of authors will be kept between 20-25 to effectively provide options for our attendees. Authors interested in Inspirations and any other special events authors please indicate your interest.
