It can feel as liberating as giving birth
Though i never had a child
So maybe its just writing out my worth
With a pen and pad
Or laptop and keybad
Expressing myself
Whether the subject be good or bad
Writing about the present or the past
Writing about things that make me sad
Or make me laugh
To be able to journal my feelings with
Some kind of flow
To write about a high or a low
In sickness or in health
To be able to put it out there
To put it all out there because i care
When i cant hold it no longer
When my emotions get stronger and stronger
When i feel like throwing a punch
Or when i have a hunch
I may want to do some
Slamming things
Breaking things
Screaming
Crying
Yelling
Hugging
Romancing
Releasing
But back to poetry lovin’
I guess the best way is type hard or write hard that poem
like just the words or just the music to a song
There must be something about creativity
And its flowetry
Because i feel like if all else fails
I still got my poetry
